Northwest Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf (NWRAD) - promotes solidarity and equality through advocacy and communication avenues to deaf, deaf-blind, and hard of hearing gays, lesbian, bisexuals, transgender, queers and intersex (GLBTQI) individuals, representing members from Washington and Oregon

ac-glbt - a mailing list is for people who have autism, aspergers or a related condition and are also gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered or questioning. Supportive partners, friends and family are also very welcome. Also gay, lesbian, bi or trans parents of children on the autistic spectrum and vice versa, may find this list helpful in some way.

Blind, Friends, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender People (BFLAG) - provides for the betterment of the lives of those who are visually impaired and who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender: by providing a forum for the views and concerns of visually impaired persons interested in issues facing those who are GLBT ~ providing information about publications of interest to members that are produced in accessible format and encouraging the production of such material in accessible format ~ facilitating the free exchange of ideas, opinions and information relative to matters of concern to blind people who are LGBT ~ and seeking to assure adequate services to those who are GLBT by agencies and institutions serving the blind.

The Blind Gay list - an email list for blind or visually impaired gay and bisexual men.

Colin Kennedy Donovan - radical queer (dis)ability activist and writer - Seattle. Colin is an anti-racist Irish/English/German/Spanish “white” physically (dis)abled genderqueer trans activist, performer, educator and writer. S/he has performed and facilitated workshops nationally. Combining a sharp sense of humor with an astute analysis of politics and culture, Colin co-edited Scars Tell Stories: A Queer and Trans (Dis)ability Zine with Qwo-Li Driskill is the author of the radical (dis)ability zine Fuck Pity and the creator/performer of the Handi-Capable-Bi-Queer-Slut of the World, the in-your-face (dis)abled advice columnist.

The Deaf Queer Resource Center (DQRC) - information center for, by and about the deaf lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, intersex and questioning communities (hereafter referred to as the “Deaf Queer community”). Passing Twice: An informal network of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons who stutter and their friends. “Twice, we come out of the closet. Twice, we choose between community and isolation. Twice, we contend with well-meaning professionals who want to make us “normal.” Twice, we deal with families who don’t fully accept us. Twice, we create our own circles of understanding friends. As men and women who have been through struggles twice, we have much to offer, both to people who stutter and to the gay and lesbian community. We also have much to offer each other: affirmation, friendship, and relief from isolation.”

QueerDisability - - a listserv for the discussion of Queer/Disability issues focused on the development of ideas, challenging existing norms, and providing much needed information for the Q/D community. This list is a space safe for all voices, but it is not a support group.

The Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf (RAD) - works “to establish and maintain a society of Deaf GLBTIQQ to encourage and promote the educational, economical, and social welfare; to foster fellowship; to defend our rights; and advance our interests as Deaf GLBTIQQ citizens concerning social justice; to build up an organization in which all worthy members may participate in the discussion of practical problems and solutions related to their social welfare. RAD has over sixteen chapters in the United States and Canada.”

ReachOut USA - focuses on the intersection between disability and LGBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender) concerns. ReachOut USA seeks to influence the disability community to be more responsive to LGBT individuals, and at the same time it seeks to influence LGBT individuals and organizations to be more accountable to people who have disabilities. ReachOut USA pursues these goals through advocacy, training, technical assistance, referrals, and the negotiation of partnerships.

Regard - The National Organisation of Disabled Lesbians, Gay Men and Bisexuals - (based in the UK) - addresses the absence of information and lack of understanding about the reality of disabled lesbians and gay men working within the disability movement. “Many individual lesbians and gay men had attempted to raise their issues, only to have their opinions ignored or rejected. We decided we needed the weight of an organisation for us to be taken seriously and to effectively tackle negative attitudes.” Campainging, a database of accessible gay venues including clubs and bars,.a help-line, newsletter, socials, equality training and more.
